Highly Optimised Design With Draw Bias
The Cobra OPTM MAX D model is the ultimate fairway finder designed with left-bias for players who fight a slice. Using strategic weight placement, the CG has been moved closer to the hosel to help get the ball up in the air easier and square the clubface.
The OPTM MAX D features a fixed heel weight (11g) that moves the CG closer to the hosel to get the ball up in the air easier and make the clubface easier to close for a draw-biased ball flight.
The FutureFit33 adjustable hosel system features 33 unique loft & lie settings to unlock more customisation options than ever before. Loft & lie can be adjusted +/- 2 degrees independently from each other, allowing for more fine-tuned fitting customisation. The innovative SMARTPAD design enables the face angle to remain square regardless of the setting.
To optimise MOI and POI the mass of OPTM drivers is distributed more symmetrically around the centre of gravity and across the 3 key axes and tightened around the CG to minimise the clubs diagonal resistance to rotation. Using A.I. driven simulation tools Cobra engineers have studied millions of impact locations to gain an expert understanding of gear effect and how to determine the optimal location of the metal/mass, and moveable weights in each model.
Fitted as standard with the premium MCA Kai li Dark Waves Red shafts, and the SuperStroke Crossline Black grip.
