Highly Optimised Design With Draw Bias
The Cobra OPTM MAX is designed with left-bias for players who fight a slice. Using strategic weight placement, the CG has been moved closer to the hosel to help get the ball up in the air easier and square the clubface quicker so that the ball flight goes more left.
The OPTM MAX fairway features an advanced descending weight system with 2 adjustable weights (14g, 3g) that can be moved in the back (neutral to slight draw-biased flight), or heel (max draw-biased flight) positions to tune trajectory control.
FutureFit33 adjustable hosel system features 33 unique loft & lie settings to unlock more customisation options than ever before. Loft & lie can be adjusted +/- 2 degrees independently from each other, allowing for more fine-tuned fitting customisation. The innovative SMARTPAD design enables the face angle to remain square regardless of the setting.
Until now, MOI has been the primary measurement companies focus on to optimise club stability and forgiveness. Cobra is the first company to talk about a lesser-known measurement called POI, which accounts for club rotation across all 3 axis (horizontal, vertical and diagonal twisting that occurs during off-centre hits). The OPTM fairway woods are the first to optimise both MOI and POI through strategic weight placement & shaping to create a super fairway wood - one that dramatically reduces gear effect to deliver tighter dispersion for longer and straighter off-centre shots.
