Ping's G440 Max HL Driver is specifically made for players with slower swing speeds. Engineered with a lower overall system weight and made with lighter backweights, ultra-light shafts and lighter grips to promote more clubhead speed and ball velocity for high launching, longer carrying shots.
The G440 driver family has made multiple engineering advancements to deliver more ball speed whilst continuing to deliver the game-changing forgiveness expected from a Ping driver. Each model is built to fit a specific player type and provide the launch conditions best suited to their swing. With a reduced overall weight and longer standard shaft than previous editions to aid golfers in swinging faster for higher launching, longer drives.
An all new Free Hosel Technology saves weight and re-allocates it to help push the centre of gravity lower and deeper than ever before in a Ping driver for faster ball speeds and increased forgiveness. A lower face height has enabled a new hotter, thinner face with Spinsistency that brings more consistency on strikes across the face, including in the heel.
All three models have a CarbonFly Wrap crown which also saves weight to aid the lowered centre of gravity and produce a slightly muted, more pleased sound at impact. They all have a lighter head weight than before enabling a heavier back weight to influence shot shape and increase forgiveness. Loft is adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard using the 8-setting Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel.

High launch HL build is a new full-set custom option for slower swing speed golfers who don't generate sufficient clubhead speed and ball velocity from traditionally weighted clubs.
Weight and Loft Adjustability:
A high-density tungsten moveable backweight influences shot shape and improves forgiveness. Loft is adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard using the 8-setting Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel.
Hotter, Thinner Face:
A lower and thinner face with Spinsistency technology brings more ball speed and increased consistency on strikes across the face including the heel region.
Free-Hosel Technology:
Ping's deepest centre of gravity in a driver to date. Weight saved and repositioned to lower the centre of gravity for increased forgiveness whilst allowing for more face flexing leading to consistent ball speeds across the face.
