Eye-Q Alignment With PEBAX Insert Face
The new Scottsdale TEC putters are designed with Tour Elevated Concepts based on research with Tour players and Ping's innovation team. Along with a striking new look, this family of putters introduces an exciting new alignment technology.
The Scottsdale TEC Ketsch Onset model offers an onset hosel position, which places the shaft near the centre line of the putter head, behind the top rail and in front of the CG, this provides a full-face view of the ball and the three prominent sightlines to aid in alignment. The CG position behind the shaft axis ensures it is pulled through the stroke for stability and preserves the torque and dynamic feel of a slight arc or straight-arc model.
Each head in the Scottsdale TEC family features Eye Q, this new alignment technology provides a unique focal point on the top rail. The dot and long alignment line offers a discrete anchor and allows players to 'quiet' their eyes before the stroke. This makes it easier to maintain a stable fixation throughout the stroke for more consistent rolls.
A one-piece PEBAX insert delivers a softer feel with improved distance control. This lightweight, high-energy return material enables mass to be freed up to increase MOI and offer more forgiveness. Engineered from a milled 6061 aluminium body and 304 stainless steel sole plate allows the weight to be positioned low and in the perimeter of the putter head. This ensures optimal centre of gravity and high levels of MOI for a high forgiving and consistent roll with every stroke.
Fitted as standard with the Ping SuperStroke 2.0 Pistol Tour grip and a Matte Black Stepless shaft.
