Introducing the TaylorMade Milled Grind Hi-Toe 5 Wedge, featuring numerous proven TaylorMade technologies, plus new updates for enhanced feel, spin, versatility and overall performance.

Hi-Toe 5 wedges are fully forged from soft carbon steel and designed with precision geometry to deliver world-class feel and feedback out of all lies and conditions. Inspired by the feedback of Tour professionals, the aim of the process is to provide maximum softness and feel in the players hands whilst ensuring consistency. In comparison to the MG4, the MG5 features a more refined leading-edge curvature and an updated top line which blends for a more symmetrical overall profile.

Hi-Toe 5 wedges employ aggressive saw-milled grooves with ultra-tight tolerances.The result is a groove with steeper walls and razor-sharp radii that maximise spin from any lie. This process allows the TaylorMade designers to edge closer to the legal limits of groove geometry. With reengineered, ultra-light tolerances, steeper walls and sharper radii, MG5 grooves produce more spin than previous MG generations.

Like in MG4, the MG5 utilises a RAW face finish and Spin Tread Technology, this helps players maintain spin and control in all weather conditions. These work in tandem with the new saw-milled grooves to retain 13% more spin than MG4 in wet conditions and maintain consistent launch between wet and dry conditions. Spin Tread Technology works in a similar fashion to the tread on a tire, which creates space for water to exit so the tire can have direct contact with the pavement and better grip the road. In the case of MG5, the treads channel away moisture and allow the golf ball to stay on the face longer while imparting more spin.

Fitted as standard with a premium, high performing KBS Hi Rev 2.0 115 wedge shaft.

MG5 has been forged with soft carbon steel and designed with geometry to provide excellent feel and great feedback.

Spin Tread Groove:
Deep laser etching between the grooves provides a channel for the water to escape upon impact, maintaining spin in wet conditions.

Saw-Milled Grooves:
More aggressive grooves produce tighter tolerances with steeper walls and sharper radii, designed to maximise spin in wet and dry conditions.

Raw Face:
This design offers improved sound and feel on shots struck across the face.
